When we converted the 200 year old disused cattle barn we wanted to create a comfortable relaxing home with modern facilities and hot tub for extra relaxation which is available all year round. It was most important that our build was sympathetic to the location and at the same time embraced the latest ecological technologies, but not losing site of the of the natural traditional building methods. The barn has solar panels on the roof to produce its own electricity, highly insulated with underfloor heating and air heat recovery system. Open plan living space with fully fitted kitchen and bathroom with a spiral stair up to the bedroom.
